Our West Palm Beach office is seeking a highly motivated Labor and Employment Paralegal who is technologically savvy to join our Labor & Employment Practice Group. The successful candidate will support a heavy volume of employment litigation and counseling practice in a fast-paced team environment, while applying AI and legal technology tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. This is a hybrid position with required in office support when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys through employment litigation and counseling matters, including agency charges, investigations, and hearings
  • Manage case management and hearing/trial preparation, including analyzing legal documents, witness background research, and discovery materials
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, position statements, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw and Lexis
  • Manage discovery and e-discovery workflows, including document review and production
  • Assist with EEOC, FCHR, and DOL charge responses and administrative proceedings
  • Use AI and legal technology tools to improve research, document review, and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
  • Prepare deposition summaries, exhibits, and hearing materials
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients
  • Track billable time per firm policy
  • Partner with leadership on process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment – labor and employment experience preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of Florida and federal employment law procedures and agency practice (EEOC, FCHR, DOL)
  • AI experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with iManage and Relativity
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work product
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, solution-focused
  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
