Position Summary:The Site Supervisor will support the client in overseeing the daily operations of Hospitality, Event-Conf Room set up/breakdown, Reception and Mail Services team in Raleigh NC ( office is on NC State campus ) This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure a high standard of client satisfaction and employee performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as a strong commitment to operational excellence and have excellent customer service. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of event and conf room set up including providing drinks, escourt caterers to area, and make sure area is clean and neat after events/meetings

  • Conference Room and Hospitality set-ups to include moving chairs, desks, tables and reassemble after meeting so room looks clean, neat, and organized
  • Oversee and monitor all pantry areas to ensure they are well stocked each day
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight

  • Ensure client SLAs are consistently met

  • Scan in all FedEx, UPS, Amazon packages and deliver them to staff througout the building promptly
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance skill development and service quality.

  • Attend weekly-monthly client meetings and reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including job logs, time records, and productivity reports

  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment, workflow, and client needs to maintain smooth operations

  • Monitor inventory of pantry and office supplies and coordinate with vendors or management for replenishment

  • Foster a professional, service-oriented environment that aligns with IST’s values and client expectations

Hourly Compensation: $21.00-$21.00 USD per hour, depending on production experience

Location: Raleigh NC near NC State College

 

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm  - NO WEEKENDS AND PAID HOLIDAYS

Responsibilities

  • 1-3 years experience in a related office services, hospitality Manager, and or facilities type role is required
  • Leadership experience is needed
  • Experience writing corrective actions, approving staff time weekly, and completing year end emploiyee reviews is needed
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and familiarity with computer basics is required
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and other employees both one-on-one and during meetings
  • Knowledge of supervisory techniques to manage, motivate and train employees
  • Knowledge of writing and under standing SOP's needed
  • Ability to prepare reports and present information to customers
  • Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service
  • Must have ability to multi-task, manage multiple accounts and establish priorities
  • A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Willingness to cross-train for other job functions

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a hospitality, catering, event set up/breakdown, or facilities services strongly preferred

  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience MANAGING STAFF strongly preferred

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work Monday–Friday within a shift range of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, while being able to support client events and functions based on needs to support early or late evenings if needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus

  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
