Your role: 

Global Relay is growing its NetSuite ecosystem as part of its dynamic Enterprise Systems team, and is seeking a skilled NetSuite Administrator to maintain and optimize its NetSuite ERP.

System administration:

  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the NetSuite platform.
  • Managing user accounts and security permissions in line with Global Relay security policies.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest NetSuite releases and functionalities and communicating the impact of and recommendations to adopt product release changes to the ERP Product Manager and Finance & Accounting business stakeholders.
  • Managing Sandbox activities like user testing and data refreshes.
  • Collaborate with NetSuite ACS and Customer Support where system support tickets require Vendor intervention.
  • Control 3rd party activities in Sandbox environments in line with Global Relay Security policies.

Customization and automation:

  • Customize NetSuite fields, records, forms, workflows and scripts where deemed necessary to deviate from standardization to meet business needs.
  • Creating dashboards and reports to provide users with key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting insights.
  • Automating manual tasks to improve business efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Implement and manage NetSuite integrations with other systems.

User support and training:

  • Providing technical support to end-users on navigating and using NetSuite effectively.
  • Collaborating with various departments to understand their needs and configure NetSuite to meet those needs.
  • Conducting training sessions to promote user adoption and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, documentation, and training materials.
  • Jira request triage and support case completion and maintaining accurate case record keeping to aid monthly NetSuite service reporting.
  • Keep project activities in Jira updated and accurate to aid project progress reporting.

Process improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance business operations and work with the ERP Product Manager to incorporate possible efficiencies into product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions for day to day and project deliverables.

About you: 

  • 2 to 4 years proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator implementing complex changes to the systems and its surrounding ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and business processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Values integrity and understands the criticality of working with confidential and sensitive information as part of their role.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Customer centric approach and effective collaborator with team and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in working with a variety of software applications that extends or integrates with NetSuite.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal best practices followed by the Enterprise Systems team relating to daily standups, monthly product releases, release planning, user documentation, system administration documentation, Jira ticket processes etc.

Preferred attributes of our ideal administrator:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Systems
  • NetSuite certified is preferred (SuiteFoundation, SuiteAdministrator)
  • Knowledge with SuiteScript or other development tools.

Compensation:

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background. 

The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
