Microsoft Engineer

Peraton is looking for an experienced Microsoft Engineer to support Microsoft 365 day to day, development, modernization, and migration in support of a government multi-cloud environment. Aside from technical qualifications, applicant should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
The applicant must have engineering lead experience and extensive Microsoft 365 and Exchange/SharePoint knowledge and experience with integration, system analysis or programming experience, including developing Microsoft 365 PowerShell/GraphAPI scripts and PowerPlatform. A passion for performance, strong desire for quality conformance, and attention to detail are prerequisites for this position.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPlatform, and Entra Id.
- Supports on-going management and governance of the Mobility end point management, Office 365 and Entra Id, and eDiscovery environments.
- Expertise in Intune, Identity Access Management, Entra ID, Office 365 solution.
- Experience with eDiscovery tools, manage and configuring journaling and archive environment
- Working knowledge of email routing – DNS/DKIM/SPF.
- Must understand modern collaboration application management, and modern business requirements and performance measurement techniques, while performing logical and physical systems engineering and delivery in support of large enterprise collaboration environments.
- Engineer must have diverse technology experience with extensive Collaboration applications and Cloud knowledge and experience with integration, system analysis, including developing Cloud systems requirements and executing migration activities.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or an Associates degree and 7 years of experience or a High School diploma and 9 years of experience.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Government Security Clearance.
- Certifications:
- One Microsoft 365 certification
- 5+ years of Microsoft 365 integration, systems analysis, or programming experience
- 3+ years of Exchange and/or SharePoint server support
- Experience collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of mail routing and deploying in Government environments.
- Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment.
- Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.
