What’s the position?
Hard Rock Digital is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage and optimize our cloud-based productivity and collaboration platform. This role is responsible for administering Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience for our global workforce of 1,300+ employees.
Exchange Online Administration
Administer Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes
Manage mail flow rules, transport rules, and email routing configurations
Configure and maintain mail-enabled security groups and dynamic distribution lists
Troubleshoot email delivery issues, spam filtering, and mailbox access problems
Implement retention policies and litigation holds in coordination with Legal and Compliance teams
Manage email archiving and eDiscovery requests
Monitor Exchange Online service health and performance metrics
Coordinate with Security team on email security features (ATP, anti-phishing, anti-malware)
SharePoint Online Administration
Administer SharePoint Online sites, site collections, and hub sites
Configure site permissions, access controls, and sharing policies
Manage document libraries, lists, and content organization structures
Implement information governance and retention policies
Troubleshoot SharePoint access issues and performance problems
Configure search settings and optimize search experiences
Manage SharePoint service applications and features
Coordinate site provisioning and lifecycle management
Microsoft Teams Administration
Administer Microsoft Teams including teams, channels, and policies
Configure Teams governance policies and naming conventions
Manage Teams app permissions and custom app deployments
Troubleshoot Teams meeting and calling issues
Configure Teams external access and guest access policies
Manage Teams device configurations and meeting room systems
Monitor Teams usage and adoption metrics
Coordinate with network team on Teams quality and performance optimization
OneDrive for Business Support
Manage OneDrive for Business storage policies and quotas
Troubleshoot OneDrive sync client issues and conflicts
Configure OneDrive sharing and external sharing policies
Implement Known Folder Move policies for desktop redirection
Monitor OneDrive storage utilization and capacity planning
Assist users with file recovery and version history
Microsoft 365 Service Management
Monitor Microsoft 365 service health dashboard and respond to service incidents
Plan and coordinate Microsoft 365 service updates and feature rollouts
Manage Microsoft 365 tenant settings and organization configurations
Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 security and compliance features (in coordination with Security team)
Implement Microsoft 365 backup and recovery solutions
Optimize Microsoft 365 performance and user experience
Troubleshoot service connectivity and authentication issues
License Management & Optimization
Manage Microsoft 365 license assignments and allocation
Monitor license utilization and identify optimization opportunities
Coordinate with IT Asset Manager on license procurement and renewals
Track feature usage and recommend appropriate license tiers
Implement license automation and dynamic group-based licensing
Generate license compliance reports for audits
User Support & Training
Provide Tier 3 escalation support for Microsoft 365 issues
Create user guides and documentation for Microsoft 365 features
Train helpdesk staff on Microsoft 365 troubleshooting procedures
Respond to complex support tickets escalated from helpdesk
Maintain knowledge base articles for common Microsoft 365 issues
Compliance & Governance
Implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies in coordination with Security and Compliance teams
Configure retention labels and policies for regulatory compliance
Support eDiscovery requests and legal holds
Maintain audit logs and compliance reporting for Microsoft 365 activities
Document Microsoft 365 configurations and change procedures
Support internal and external audits related to Microsoft 365 services
Ensure Microsoft 365 configurations meet gaming regulatory requirements
Integration & Automation
Integrate Microsoft 365 services with business applications
Develop PowerShell scripts for Microsoft 365 administration automation
Implement automated workflows using Power Automate
Configure connectors and third-party integrations
Create automated reporting and monitoring solutions
Optimize administrative processes through automation and scripting
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration
3+ years of experience with Exchange Online administration
Strong understanding of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams architecture
Experience with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft 365 automation
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
Technical Skills
Exchange Online administration and mail flow management

OneDrive for Business configuration and support
Microsoft 365 admin center and service management
PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS-203)
Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
Experience with Microsoft 365 in regulated industries (gaming, financial services, healthcare)
Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
Experience with Microsoft 365 governance and lifecycle management tools
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 backup and recovery solutions
