The Role
We are looking for a proactive Marketing Specialist to independently lead our GTM strategy. We need someone who can assess our current landscape, identify the gaps, and execute high-impact campaigns immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Go to Market Strategy & Ownership
- Take full ownership of the marketing roadmap. Review past performance and propose a data-driven plan aligned with business goals.
- Identify and prioritize the most effective channels for a B2B legal audience (LinkedIn, Email, targeted events).
- Be the Expert: Present strategies and insights to leadership. We want you to come to us with ideas, not wait for us to give you tasks.
2. Content Creation & "Smart" AI Implementation
- Produce high-quality visuals, copy, and assets.
- Act as an internal "AI Researcher." Leverage tools (like ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.) to accelerate workflows. You must understand that AI is only as good as the prompt—we need you to guide these tools to produce brand-safe, high-value content.
- Maintain a cohesive brand voice across all platforms.
3. Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute email campaigns, newsletters, nurture flows, and social posts.
- Write effective copy, subject lines, and callstoaction.
- Monitor and optimize all campaign performance.
4. Collaboration & Execution
- Coordinate content production and marketing initiatives with our remote/distributed technical teams.
- Bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and our client-facing messaging.
- Ensure projects move forward efficiently despite time zone differences.
5. Sales Enablement & Events
- Partner closely with Sales to create high-impact collateral (presentation decks, service line one-pagers, case studies).
- Manage the strategy and logistics for industry conventions (booth design, swag /giveaways sourcing, and lead generation).
6. Performance & Optimization
- Manage Google Ads structure and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with external vendors to maximize ROI where needed.
- Monitor campaign performance and pivot quickly if something isn’t working.
7. Operational & Administrative Support
- Support ad‑hoc tasks as needed across departments (billing, expenses, vendor coordination, documentation, special projects, and operational needs).
Required Skills:
- Professional Experience:
3–5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or go-to-market (GTM) roles, preferably within B2B, corporate, legal, technical, or service based industries.
- Content & Messaging:
Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, compelling marketing narratives.
- Independent “Driver” Mindset:
Proven ability to work independently within a small, fast paced team. You proactively identify gaps, surface opportunities, and take ownership of solutions without waiting for direction.
- AI Proficiency:
Demonstrated experience using AI tools to accelerate research, content production, and marketing workflows. You view AI as a productivity and quality multiplier- not a replacement for strategic thinking.
- Remote Collaboration:
Experience working with remote or distributed teams, including cross timezone collaboration, is highly preferred.
- Marketing Technology Stack:
Proficiency with Canva, Google Workspace, email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, HubSpot), and social media management tools.
Nice to Have:
- SEO & Organic Marketing:
Basic to intermediate experience with SEO concepts, including keyword research, onpage optimization, and performance tracking using tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Marketing Analytics & Reporting:
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) or similar platforms to track website traffic, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Paid Media Exposure:
Some experience or exposure to paid campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or paid social), with an understanding of targeting and performance metrics.
