As a Junior eDiscovery Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our eDiscovery projects. You'll work closely with seasoned technology consultants to manage and execute project plans, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of eDiscovery services. This role is a blend of technical expertise, client management, and project coordination, offering a unique opportunity to grow in the rapidly evolving field of legal technology. This person will be based in our NYC office several times a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning and implementation of eDiscovery projects.
Collaborate with senior team members to understand client needs, develop project plans, and implement advanced technology solutions.
Assist with rollout of new service offerings related to trial preparation.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and legal tech to suggest and implement innovative solutions.
Contribute to client meetings and communications, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.
Provide direction and support to project team.
Perform quality control on client project deliverables.
Monitor and report on the progress of projects to all stakeholders.
Evaluate project results and identify changes that can be implemented for future work.
Desired Skill and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the areas of computer science, computer forensics, management information systems or relevant coursework.
Minimum of four (4+) years of relevant experience in discovery processes, tools and systems with consistent use of innovative technology.
Extensive experience and knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Experience working in trial preparation environments, either in law firms or service providers.
Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction.
Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to problem solving that instills client confidence, wins repeat business and generates excellent referrals.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
Displays professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude.
Experience with ediscovery review platforms, namely RelativityOne and Reveal.
Strong proficiency in the use of forensic acquisition and analysis tools such as EnCase, FTK, Axiom, XWays, Cellebrite, and other forensic tools.
Industry certifications considered valuable to this position include Relativity Expert / Relativity Master / Nuix Discover Master / Brainspace/Reveal Admin / EnCE / CCE / ACE / GCFE / etc.
Salary Range: $100,000-$185,000
