We are seeking an experienced Litigation Support Engineer to provide technical, analytical, and operational support for eDiscovery, digital evidence management, and litigation technology workflows within secure federal environments. This role supports legal teams, investigative stakeholders, and mission partners through expert data handling, processing, and chain‑of‑custody compliance on sensitive cases.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience with eDiscovery tools (including Relativity), digital forensics workflows, and secure data management practices aligned with federal guidelines.
What You Will Do
Provide end‑to‑end litigation support including data intake, evidence processing, indexing, searching, and production using enterprise eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity).
Ensure proper chain‑of‑custody procedures, maintain handling logs, and support the secure collection and preservation of electronic data.
Perform ingestion, normalization, and processing of structured and unstructured data for legal review.
Assist with advanced searches, tagging workflows, redactions, and production formatting for legal teams.
Provide technical support for case teams, including troubleshooting platform issues, user access, performance concerns, and workflow optimizations.
Support digital forensics tasks such as device imaging, metadata validation, and basic forensic triage as required.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, audit logs, and compliance artifacts aligned with federal standards and agency requirements.
Coordinate with legal, investigative, cybersecurity, and IT teams to support case strategy and secure data operations.
Participate in technology upgrades, data migrations, platform configuration, and process improvement initiatives.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree OR additional FOUR (4) years' experience in lieu of Degree.
U.S. Citizenship
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance and ability to obtain SCI.
Minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, digital evidence handling, or similar federal/investigative environments
Hands‑on experience with major eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, LAW PreDiscovery, Concordance, etc.)
Experience working with digital evidence, metadata, chain‑of‑custody procedures, and secure data collection workflows
Strong understanding of file systems, data structures, electronic records, and legal hold processes
Ability to work in fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environments with strict security and confidentiality requirements
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Nice to Have Certifications
Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or Relativity Certified Pro
Digital forensics / chain‑of‑custody certifications such as EnCE (EnCase Certified Examiner) or CCE (Certified Computer Examiner)
Security+ (highly desirable for DoD 8570 compliance)
