Litigation Paralegal- Hybrid

Health & Life Sciences Litigation Paralegal – Los Angeles, CA 

Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced Health & Life Sciences Litigation Paralegal to join our Los Angeles office. This role offers a hybrid schedule and will provide direct litigation support to attorneys in our Health & Life Sciences practice group. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assistattorneys with all stages of complex litigation, including case organization, document management, and trial preparation
• Manage large-scale document productions, including e-discovery, database maintenance, and coordination with vendors
• Prepare, cite-check, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
• Draft and manage subpoenas, medical record authorizations, and summaries of medical records and depositions
• Assistwith preparation of trial notebooks, exhibit lists, witness files, and hearing binders
• Coordinate filings in state and federal courts, including electronic filing systems
• Communicate professionally with clients, experts, co-counsel, and opposing counsel to support ongoing case activity

Key Qualifications: 

• A minimum offour years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in health care, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences litigation
• Strong knowledge of litigation case management, discovery processes, and court filing procedures
• Experience with e-discovery platforms and litigation support software strongly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and large case files in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with direct client and expert interaction
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule from our Los Angeles office

Compensation Range 

The compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience and skill set.
