We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to assist with all aspects of our busy in-house litigation department. Caseload is diverse, including intellectual property, contract disputes, and employment law matters.  The successful candidate will assist with all phases of litigation, including document review, preparation of deposition summaries, docket control, and calendaring of pleadings, hearings, documents, and other filings.


Responsibilities

  1. Litigation support and case management, including administrative support therefor (file pleadings, calendar hearings/deadlines, prepare/organize case files, manage pleadings, discovery indexes, and correspondence)

 

  1. Prepare and file all court and related documents (state and federal)

  1.  Manage all aspects of discovery and e-discovery, including preparing deposition summaries, privilege logs, compile briefs/appendices/exhibits

  1. Create / maintain templates for pleadings, discovery responses, briefs, etc.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) 
  • ABA-approved Paralegal certificate
  • 5+ years of trial and litigation paralegal experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including attention to detail
  • Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Solid knowledge of motions, discovery, court rules, and filing procedures
  • Experience with Relativity or comparable litigation support software
  • Experience with state and federal court filing procedures and local rules
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office


Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 /year
