Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Hybrid)Job Description

This hybrid litigation paralegal role supports a large, fast-growing technology company’s legal team in downtown Seattle. The position runs through the end of 2026 and focuses on providing timely and effective support to senior paralegals, attorneys, and sourcing professionals, while collaborating closely with other paralegals. You will work on medium- to high-complexity projects, draft a wide range of commercial agreements under supervision, and handle the administrative side of litigation, including document retention and e-discovery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to senior paralegals, attorneys, and sourcing professionals across the legal department.
  • Collaborate with other paralegals on litigation and commercial contract matters.
  • Participate in projects with medium to high complexity, ensuring accuracy, organization, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Draft a variety of commercial documents with supervision, including Statements of Work, Professional Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Proof of Concept Agreements, Transportation Services Agreements, and Master Purchasing Agreements.
  • Support attorneys, including employment counsel, with litigation-related tasks and overflow work from other attorneys.
  • Handle the administrative side of litigation, including document retention, legal file organization, and management of legal folders.
  • Support and manage e-discovery processes, including use of tools such as Hanzo, and maintain organized discovery materials.
  • Perform legal assistant-style duties for the global legal team, including file management, organization, and document tracking.
  • Use tools such as Coupa, Slack, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office to prepare, manage, and track legal and sourcing documents.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with attorneys, paralegals, sourcing professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain poise under pressure and consistently meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute positively to a growing legal team of more than 20 professionals by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Essential Skills
  • 2–5 years of post-school paralegal or legal support experience, with a strong litigation background.
  • Hands-on experience with the administrative side of litigation, including document retention, legal file organization, and e-discovery processes.
  • Experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters, ideally including in-house experience, with law firm experience also considered.
  • Strong paralegal skills, including drafting and reviewing legal contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Proficiency with e-discovery tools and processes, including experience with Hanzo.
  • Ability to draft Statements of Work, Professional Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Proof of Concept Agreements, Transportation Services Agreements, and Master Purchasing Agreements under supervision.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite for document creation, collaboration, and organization.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a legal team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working in a technology company or supporting technology-focused legal matters.
  • Familiarity with Coupa for sourcing and procurement-related documentation.
  • Experience using Slack for team communication and collaboration.
  • Prior experience in an in-house legal department is highly valued, with law firm experience also considered.
  • Comfort working on global legal teams and supporting attorneys across different locations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing high volumes of legal documents and files.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in downtown Seattle. You work onsite Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and remotely on Monday and Friday. The office is a newer space with impressive views of the Puget Sound and houses a growing legal team of approximately 20–22 professionals globally. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-driven, with regular use of tools such as Slack, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Hanzo, and Coupa. The position is structured as a consulting engagement through the end of 2026, with the potential to extend depending on performance and budget. The culture emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and the opportunity to contribute to a newly created role within an expanding legal department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
