In this role, you’ll shape the future of litigation support by designing and delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that streamline complex discovery processes. You’ll work with industry-leading platforms like Exterro, Relativity, Nuix, and Microsoft 365 Purview, while driving API development, system integrations, and ensuring adherence to rigorous regulatory and security standards.

You will operate within a highly matrixed environment, collaborating seamlessly across Business, Product, Operations, and Technology domains to deliver outcomes aligned with the Wells Fargo Product Operating Model. You will foster shared accountability, clear ownership, and cross-functional partnership to enable predictable, high-quality, and scalable delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of developers in building and maintaining applications for eDiscovery and legal litigation. 

  • Architect and implement integrations between eDiscovery platforms and enterprise systems. 

  • Drive API development for automation and interoperability across tools. 

  • Ensure adherence to financial industry security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. 

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee upgrades for platforms like Exterro, Relativity, Nuix, and M365 Purview

  • Establish best practices for application lifecycle management, including CI/CD and DevOps principles. 

  • Collaborate across matrixed teams and domains (Business, Product, Operations, Technology) to ensure clarity of roles, shared accountability, and seamless delivery, in line with the Product Operating Model Charter

  • Drive adoption of AI and automation in legal technology workflows, identifying opportunities to leverage AI for improved efficiency, quality, and ROI.

  Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 3+ Years of Management or Leadership experience.

  • 5+ Years of Application Development experience

               

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with eDiscovery platforms (Exterro, Relativity, Nuix) OR Microsoft 365 Purview.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed organization, collaborating across multiple domains and functions.

  • Proven ability to drive AI-first initiatives and deliver AI-enabled solutions that generate measurable ROI.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., .Net, C#, Java, Python).

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards in financial services.

  • Leadership: Ability to manage teams, budgets, and project timelines effectively.

  • Strong background in API development and system integration.

  • Familiarity with legal hold workflows, data mapping, and advanced analytics in eDiscovery.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA).

  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

  • Certifications such as Relativity Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator, or Azure Solutions Architect.

  • Experience integrating AI and automation into enterprise workflows, with a track record of delivering business value through technology innovation.

  • Background in Legal and Legal eDiscovery technology and operations, with an understanding of legal processes, litigation support, and the unique challenges of legal technology environments.
