Ryz Labs is seeking an experienced eDiscovery associate to support one of our U.S.-based clients in managing end-to-end legal discovery workflows. This role will be key in strengthening their document response capabilities and supporting both large litigation cases and smaller investigations.

What You’ll Do

- Run complete eDiscovery workflows: case setup, custodian management, legal holds, data collection, culling, review preparation, and export.

- Maintain chain of custody, documentation rigor, and auditability across all cases.

- Collaborate closely with internal legal teams and outside counsel.

- Execute document search strategies and filtering using advanced keywords and metadata.

- Support ongoing improvements in internal discovery and data management processes.

What We’re Looking For

- Hands-on experience with eDiscovery tools (Purview, Reveal, or Onna preferred; other tools welcome).

- Familiarity with email systems, file storage, and cloud collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Teams).

- Solid understanding of legal discovery processes and terminology.

- Proven experience working with legal teams or external counsel.

- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and confidentiality standards.

Our values and what to expect:

- Customer First Mentality - every decision we make should be made through the lens of the customer.

- Bias for Action - urgency is critical, expect that the timeline to get something done is accelerated.

- Ownership - step up if you see an opportunity to help, even if it's not your core responsibility.

- Humility and Respect - be willing to learn, be vulnerable, and treat everyone who interacts with RYZ with respect.

- Frugality - being frugal and cost-conscious helps us do more with less.

- Deliver Impact - get things done most efficiently.

- Raise our Standards - always be looking to improve our processes, our team, our expectations. The status quo is not good enough and should never be.
