Role: Lead Product Manager 

Location: Richmond Hill/ Waterloo/ Mississauga/ Ottawa, ON, Canada

Your work will support litigation, investigations, and compliance efforts—helping legal teams move faster, reduce risk, and focus on what matters most. You will define product investment strategies for growth, and customer retention, systemically deliver product line capabilities leveraging cloud delivery processes, incorporate cutting edge technologies like AWS and Generative-AI, and efficiently manage field communication, market feedback, and validation. You will be an evangelist for our products, product lines and portfolios, understanding customer motivations and fostering customer-centric product development solutions.

 

 As a Lead Product Manager, you will:

  • Bring extensive eDiscovery knowledge and expertise, applying this expertise to create the best eDiscovery products in the industry.
  • Collect and receive input on product direction from all sources (customers, sales, executives, employees, marketplace, publications) and distill that information into a coherent and well-defined product vision and roadmap. 
  • Participate in the creation of go-to-market strategies and assist with carrying out product launches. This includes pricing, positioning, forecasting, competitive market research/analysis, and sales and technical enablement.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements into engineering stories that can be reliably delivered.
  • Integrate and drive cross-functional teams, ensuring exceptional results through collaboration and navigation.
  • Develop effective solutions for broad projects, evaluating variable factors in-depth and adapting complex techniques.
  • Make critical decisions as a project team leader, foster valuable networks with external contacts, and provide guidance on complex matters within your expertise.
  • Possess 8-12 years of previous professional experience. 

 

What you need to Succeed:

 

  • eDiscovery Knowledge and Experience: A strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and its implementation in the market. Practical experience implementing EDRM via technology is highly desirable.
  • Generative AI Expertise: GenAI and LLMs are changing the way eDiscovery solves customer problems, a successful candidate will be familiar with GenAI and able to build requirements for using this technology to solve problems in the EDRM space.
  • Market Analysis: Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the Information Management industry.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making and product optimization.
  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of software development, data management, and information technologies to effectively communicate with development teams and make informed technical decisions.
  • Project Management: Competency in project management tools and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor product development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • UX/UI Design: Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to create products that provide exceptional user experiences and meet design standards.
  • International Collaboration: Willing to work in an international environment involving multiple time zones.

As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $103,250 - $153,250; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
