Junior Data Analytics Specialist

Overview

The Data Analytics Specialist must be detail oriented, possess written and verbal communication skills and exhibit problem solving skills. Specialists have an aptitude in problem solving, and platforms including Relativity and Excel. Analysts work through a ticketing system to support internal clients, both by completing requested tasks and by advising on the most appropriate method to meet the client’s specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Relativity Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of dtSearch syntax, including formatting and search limitation nuances
  • Use proper dtSearch formatting to create proper Search Term Reports
  • Create complex searches with multiple conditions accurately and without error
  • Run Structured Analytics Sets in accordance with SOP
• Service Desk or other Ticketing System
  • Utilize ticketing system to pick up, track, and complete requested tasks
  • Prioritize requested tasks based on urgency, completion time, and other factors
  • Communicate status updates regularly to inform internal client on request status
• Provide Analytics Support
  • Understand the client’s objective and employ the appropriate analytics function
  • Deploy analytics functions in Relativity to support the review team
  • Communicate results clearly and concisely to internal clients
  • Follow cyber workflows in accordance with SOP matters
  • Complete specific tasks as requested by consulting teammates to support external clients
• Enter metrics including billing time entry and culling metrics in line with team expectations

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements:

• J.D., Paralegal Certificate, or BS Degree or Diploma in relevant field Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Retrieval Sciences, among others, or equivalent

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• 1 year experience 

Other Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Relativity UI
• Proven work experience in the eDiscovery industry
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
• Industry certifications
