We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst with strong technical data skills to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on designing Power BI dashboards, analyzing business data, and working directly with Oracle database structures to extract and transform information into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets, relational databases, and business stakeholders to translate data into meaningful reporting and operational improvements.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has strong technical foundations in data analytics and business intelligence tools and wants to grow into a data-focused Business Analyst or BI professional.

Business Analysis

• Gather and document business requirements related to reporting, analytics, and operational data needs
• Translate business questions into data queries, dashboards, and analytical outputs
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement through data analysis

Power BI Development

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Develop data models and relationships within Power BI
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculated fields
• Implement data visualizations that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
• Manage data refresh schedules and report performance optimization

Oracle Database Analysis

• Work with Oracle database schemas and relational structures
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data
• Understand and navigate complex data relationships and table structures
• Assist with data validation and quality assurance
• Collaborate with engineering or database teams when necessary

Data Management

• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies
• Support development of data pipelines and reporting datasets
• Document data sources, transformations, and report logic

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

• Deliver accurate and insightful Power BI dashboards
• Extract meaningful data from complex Oracle database environments
• Help stakeholders make better operational and strategic decisions using data
• Build a strong foundation for growth into Senior Business Analyst, BI Engineer, or Data Analyst roles

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or BI development
• Experience with:
  • ETL tools
  • Data warehouses
  • Python or R (nice to have)
  • Power Query
• Experience working with large enterprise data systems

  Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Business Analytics
  • Information Systems
  • Computer Science
  • Data Science
  • Or a related field

Technical Skills

• Strong Power BI expertise
  • Data modeling
  • DAX calculations
  • Dashboard development
  • Data visualization best practices
• Oracle Database Knowledge
  • Strong SQL query writing
  • Understanding of relational database design
  • Experience navigating Oracle schemas and data structures
• Data analysis and transformation skills
