Job Title: M365 SME
Role Summary
Microsoft 365 supports NCR Voyix’s enterprise collaboration environment by managing and optimizing key M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID. This role provides advanced technical support, ensures service reliability, contributes to projects, and drives user productivity through effective collaboration tools and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365 services and resolve escalated issues.
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, Teams policies, SharePoint sites, and user access requests.
• Monitor platform health, perform routine maintenance, and ensure configuration compliance.
• Support implementation of security and compliance policies (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, retention).
• Participate in M365 projects, migrations, and feature rollouts.
• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and standard administrative tools.
• Work closely with IT Help Desk, Security, Network, and other crossfunctional teams.
• Document procedures, update runbooks, and conduct knowledgesharing sessions.

• Troubleshoots complex M365 issues with minimal supervision.
• Implements configuration changes following best practices.
• Contributes to technology improvements and service enhancements.
CORE SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES
• Microsoft 365: Exchange Online (transport, connectors, mail flow, spam/phishing protection), Microsoft Teams (meetings, voice, policies), SharePoint/OneDrive (sites, sharing policies, governance), Defender for Office 365, Purview (DLP, retention, eDiscovery basics).
• Identity & Security: Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, SSPR, basic PKI concepts, RBAC, security/compliance baselines.
• Automation & Scripting: PowerShell (ExchangeOnlineManagement, Teams, SharePoint Online modules), Graph API fundamentals.
• Networking Basics: DNS (MX/SPF/DMARC/DKIM), mail routing, proxy/firewall impacts on O365, bandwidth/latency considerations.
• General: Incident/Problem/Change (ITIL), documentation, strong troubleshooting and communication.
Experience & Education
• 4–6 years of handson experience supporting M365 environments in an enterprise setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• ITIL knowledge preferred.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills and customerfocused mindset.
• Ability to coordinate with global teams and manage priorities.
• Good documentation and problemsolving abilities.
Work Pattern
• Standard business hours; may require oncall rotation for critical issues.
• Flexibility to support global time zones when needed.
