You will lead complex internal investigations across multiple regions, ensuring objective fact-finding and agreement on our Code of Conduct and applicable laws. We are looking for investigative judgment, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with global partners. You will report to Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex internal investigations related to whistleblower reports, misconduct, fraud, corruption, and ethical breaches across Latin America.
You will support senior leadership and Ethics & Compliance partners in delivering and well-documented investigations and remediation actions.
Develop investigation strategies, including case scoping, evidence collection, interviewing plans, and risk-based prioritization.
Conduct and oversee interviews with employees and senior partners while ensuring fairness and due process.
Analyze investigation findings and identify patterns, trends, and systemic risks; translate insights into applicable recommendations.
Design, monitor, and support remediation plans in collaboration with business leaders, Legal, HR, Audit, and Compliance teams.
Prepare clear, objective, and executive-level investigation reports, dashboards, and summaries for senior management and global committees.
Ensure handling of evidence, including documentation, data integrity, chain of custody, and readiness for audits or regulatory review.
Use technology, data analytics, and e-discovery tools to enhance investigation efficiency and accuracy.
Stay informed of relevant regulatory and legal developments to assess potential impact on investigations and corporate risk.
Be a trusted advisor to regional leadership on investigation outcomes, ethical risks, and mitigation strategies.
Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Law degree or equivalent professional qualification required.
5+ years of experience leading internal or forensic investigations involving fraud, bribery, corruption, financial misconduct, or serious policy violations.
Interview and fact-finding skills, including experience with senior-level team members.
Hands-on experience with e-discovery platforms and digital evidence review.
Demonstrated integrity and understanding of requirements.
Experience working with Legal, Compliance, HR, Audit, Finance, and Operations.
Fluent in English; Portuguese proficiency.
Willingness to travel.
