The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, maintain, and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure. In this role, you will primarily manage our Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra environments while ensuring seamless connectivity, robust identity management, and a secure modern workplace. You will also support Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise networking.

The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, and enterprise networking. You will play a key role in engineering identity solutions, modernizing infrastructure, and delivering strategic IT initiatives in collaboration with our global IT team.

Key Responsibilities
Identity & Modern Workplace Management

• Manage Microsoft Entra ID as the primary identity provider, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Maintain on-premises Active Directory, including DNS, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Organizational Units (OUs), and
• hybrid identity services.
• Support the organization's transition toward cloud-native identity management.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Windows Autopilot deployments.
• Administer Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview to support security, compliance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and threat protection.

Enterprise & Cloud Networking

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN connectivity.
• Manage Azure networking components, including Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and Application Gateway.
• Optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity to ensure secure and reliable access to Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
• Maintain network segmentation, firewall policies, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
  Operations & Project Delivery
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure, identity, cloud, and networking issues.
• Work closely with the global IT team to deliver infrastructure projects and continuous service improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity environments.
• Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, subnetting, VPNs, and enterprise firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, or similar).
• Experience administering Azure infrastructure and networking services.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

Preferred

• Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certifications
• Experience migrating traditional on-premises infrastructure to hybrid or cloud-native environments.
