In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive information security program to protect critical data, systems, and client information. You will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on manager, collaborating with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards. The position requires proactive risk management, incident response leadership, and mentoring of security staff while fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence security strategy, improve operational resilience, and safeguard sensitive information in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

  • Accountabilities
  • • Develop, maintain, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with strategic objectives.
  • • Design and manage a comprehensive information security program covering risk assessment, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
  • • Lead incident response efforts, including investigations, remediation, reporting, and conducting regular tabletop exercises.
  • • Monitor program effectiveness through established metrics and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • • Oversee the deployment and management of security tools, including firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, IAM, and cloud security controls.
  • • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business teams to integrate security into operations and vendor management.
  • • Conduct regular risk assessments and security testing, managing mitigation and reporting findings to senior leadership.
  • • Mentor and manage information security staff, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Requirements
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • • 7–10 years of progressive IT and information security experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • • Proven expertise with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
  • • Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments, including document management, practice management tools, cloud platforms, and eDiscovery systems.
  • • Demonstrated experience in incident response, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex security topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, or GISO are a plus.
