Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team and strengthen our cybersecurity program. This role will focus on threat intelligence, incident response, and digital forensics to safeguard the organization against evolving cyber risks.

Under the guidance of Information Security leadership, the analyst will review and analyze threat intelligence, investigate incidents, conduct forensic examinations, and contribute to policy development. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring proactive defense strategies and effective response to security threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Information Security leadership in risk identification, reporting, and monitoring across the organization.

  • Monitor internal and external threat landscapes, focusing on malicious code, vulnerabilities, and potential attacks.

  • Manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents (e.g., malware, phishing, unauthorized access) through detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and root cause analysis.

  • Conduct forensic investigations, advanced data collection, and eDiscovery requests while ensuring evidence integrity.

  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, and other stakeholders on investigations.

  • Participate in and facilitate tabletop exercises to improve incident response processes.

  • Review and analyze findings from vulnerability scans and penetration testing; provide actionable recommendations.

  • Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, ensuring compliance with audits, assessments, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Contribute to organization-wide security awareness training and communication.

  • Provide feedback and collaboration with IT teams to protect data and enhance compliance posture.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: 5+ years in information security (audit, assessment, engineering, architecture, or related roles).

  • Strong background in threat intelligence, incident response, digital forensics, and policy development.

  • Hands-on expertise with tools such as:

    • Magnet Forensics Axiom Cyber

    • Splunk

    • Microsoft Defender

    • MITRE ATT&CK framework

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience creating and presenting technical material to senior management.

  • Proven ability in relationship management, consulting, influencing, and negotiation.

  • Financial Services industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Law enforcement and forensic investigation experience is a plus.
