Job Description:
The Information Governance Compliance Analyst supports the firm’s Information Governance program by performing detailed review of client and nonclient data related to attorney and business professional departures from the firm. This role is responsible for efficiently executing review plans established by the Information Governance Counsel and the General Counsel’s Office to ensure client privileges are protected and firm proprietary data remains within the firm. The Information Governance Compliance Analyst relies on strong technology and data analysis skills and performs data analysis tasks, including processing and loading documents to a document review platform, when necessary.As the Information Governance Compliance Analyst you will:
- Process, extract, convert, and manipulate data utilizing eDiscovery software and forensic tools
- Support the Information Governance Counsel in reviewing and transferring data during attorney departures, transitions, and other information governance projects
- Document, execute and track electronic data processing requests through the ticketing system; assist with the maintenance of project tracking
- Prepare data from eDiscovery software for review, including running search terms and setting up reviews according to previously established guidelines
- Review large volume of client and nonclient documents to ensure client privileges and confidentiality are maintained and firm proprietary information remains within the firm
- Manage departing attorney expectations regarding transfer timelines
- Accumulate, manage, and summarize document review statistics and metrics
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three (3) years of related work experience, ideally in a large law firm setting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a professional services environment
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Target Hiring Range $59,000 - $82,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWS provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
