Job Description & Summary

Protecting a global network from legal risk takes more than expertise — it takes judgment, collaboration, and a deep sense of purpose. As a Global OGC Litigation and Investigations Attorney, you'll play a vital role in defending the PwC network against complex litigation and regulatory matters, working with internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and all levels of the organisation.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health—giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You'll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we're building trust and shaping the future.

What you'll do:

  • Defend and manage complex litigation, regulatory investigations, and enforcement matters across multiple jurisdictions within the PwC network.

  • Assist PwC network firms in managing significant claims and reputational threats, coordinating with insurers and other stakeholders to protect the network's broader interests.

  • Conduct and oversee internal investigations of potential illegal acts and other significant policy violations.

  • Provide timely, comprehensive reports on sensitive matters to firm leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Manage outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions to obtain optimal outcomes and contain costs.

  • Identify and analyse complex legal, regulatory, and business issues, providing strategic advice on applicable legal and professional standards, often on a time-sensitive basis.

  • Collaborate on best practices and monitor legal and regulatory developments that impact the network.

  • Assess and leverage technology and work management tools (e.g., eDiscovery) to most effectively support matters.

What we're looking for:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.

  • Significant law firm or in-house experience handling complex litigation and regulatory investigations.

  • Experience with defence of audit or other professional services firms (preferred).

  • Demonstrated experience handling cross-border matters and/or matters outside of the US.

  • Strong ability to evaluate and defend matters including complex securities and commercial litigation, class actions, professional malpractice, regulatory enforcement, white collar criminal matters, arbitration, and mediation.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases, matters, and projects simultaneously, including teams of internal and external resources.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus and interact effectively with all levels of firm management and leadership.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills for both legal and non-legal audiences.

What you'll gain:

  • Leadership development programs and executive coaching designed to help you inspire teams and accelerate your career growth.

  • A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.

  • Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work—balancing what's best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.

  • Being part of a community united by purpose, delivering impact that reaches clients, communities, and the future you're shaping.
