Job Description & Summary

About the role

As an Associate in PwC’s Financial Crime team, you’ll help leading financial services organisations prevent, detect and respond to financial crime. This client-facing role sits at the intersection of regulation, risk and transformation, supporting clients to strengthen frameworks across anti-money laundering, sanctions, market abuse and wider financial crime obligations. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gain exposure to complex regulatory challenges, and build trusted relationships with clients including global banks, insurers and asset managers.

What your days will look like

You’ll support varied client engagements and contribute to high-quality delivery across financial crime projects.

  • Support financial crime engagements, including risk assessments, framework reviews, regulatory remediation and operating model design.
  • Draft clear client deliverables, such as reports, gap analyses and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients through workshops, interviews and status updates, building credibility and trust.
  • Analyse policies, procedures and controls against UK and global regulatory expectations and industry best practice.

This role is for you if

  • You have experience in financial services risk or controls projects, such as consulting, risk or audit.
  • You understand risk management and control frameworks.
  • You can analyse information and create clear outputs using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or Tableau.
  • You can prepare high-quality reports and presentations for varied audiences.
  • You have worked in project-based environments, managing priorities and delivering to deadlines.
  • You are interested in technology and AI-enabled ways of working within financial crime.
