Job Title: Manager – Forensic Investigations and Dispute Advisory
Experience Required: 7-8 years
Location: Gurugram
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Key responsibilities/experience:

  • Highly skilled investigative due-diligence professional with deep experience conducting integrity, AML/KYC, and pre-transaction due diligence across multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
  • Proven expertise in evaluating corporate entities, senior management, investors, and third-party relationships to identify financial crime risks, reputational threats, regulatory concerns, and compliance gaps.
  • Proven expertise in gathering human/market intelligence.
  • Strong professional judgement in interpreting complex open-source intelligence (OSINT) findings, public records, and proprietary databases to support private equity, corporate M&A, and compliance teams in informed decision-making.
  • Experience in performing AML/KYC risk assessments, including PEP screening, sanctions checks, and beneficial ownership tracing.
  • Utilize advanced OSINT techniques, public records, and paid data sources (e.g., World-Check, Lexis-Nexis, Dow Jones, Factiva and others). Experience in automation of gathering information from public domain.
  • Strong understanding of investigations, litigation and disputes, forensic technology, regulatory compliance and enforcement guidance, and insurance advisory services.
  • Direct experience developing and executing against investigation workplans; expert witness analyses for a litigation, dispute or insurance claim; utilization of forensic technology (e.g., data analytics, eDiscovery, digital forensics); and delivering services to outside counsel, general counsel or compliance professionals.
  • Experience in collaborating with private equity, legal counsel, and internal compliance teams.
  • Experience in investigating fraud and misconduct is a plus.
  • Contribute to proposals and assisting with business development activities to grow the practice
  • Manage team utilization and productivity, including identifying client-based work and ensuring the team is intellectually challenged to drive their success.
  • Develop tools and templates for client delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics from an accredited university.  Master's degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in the related field; "Big 4" experience is a plus.
  • CFE and CAMS are a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and writing and communication skills and ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Eagerness and willingness to work in an offshore set-up and work towards integration and growth of the team
  • Natural aptitude for solving problems
