Role Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Subpoena Document Review Analyst to support subpoena document review operations. The role involves reviewing and analyzing documents for production in response to third party subpoenas received by US P&C Carrier.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in e-discovery and/or subpoena production document review, with strong knowledge of privilege, confidentiality, responsiveness and redaction protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Document Review & Analysis
- Review documents for responsiveness, relevance, confidentiality, privilege and compliance with subpoena instructions.
- Perform first-level and second-level review of documents in e-discovery platforms, PDF or internal review tools.
- Identify and redact PII, PHI, privileged or sensitive information.
- Prepare document sets for production ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal standards.
- Analyze subpoena language, scope, deadlines and required categories of documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and custodians to locate and collect responsive records.
- Maintain chain-of-custody, audit trails, and production documentation.
Quality Control & Production
- Conduct QC checks prior to productions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support preparation of production PDFs, redacted files and structured production sets.
- Ensure productions meet court, regulatory and jurisdictional requirements.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including attorneys, paralegls and project managers on status updates.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of review and production tasks.
Required Qualifications
- LLB degree from a reputed university. (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of document review experience in e-discovery and/or subpoena document review. (mandatory)
- Familiarity with U.S. legal system, discovery rules and document review procedures. (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of privilege (A/C, work product), confidentiality, and redaction standards. (mandatory)
- Experience using tools such as Relativityor similar.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Good knowledge of legal terminology, data privacy rules (HIPAA), and PII/PHI concepts.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
