We give you a world of potential

We are looking for an EUC Engineer for our Messaging & Collaboration team to help shape the future of how our global workforce communicates and collaborates. This is an engineering‑focused role where you’ll design, build, and improve enterprise‑scale messaging and collaboration platforms, while ensuring they remain secure, resilient, and fit for purpose.

You’ll work across a diverse technology landscape—cloud and on‑premises—covering everything from email and archiving to modern collaboration tools and identity integration. While Microsoft 365 will be your primary playground, you’ll also engage with adjacent technologies and services that keep our business connected.

This isn’t just about keeping the lights on. You’ll have the opportunity to automate at scale, solve complex hybrid challenges, and influence the roadmap for critical services used by thousands of colleagues worldwide. If you enjoy combining deep technical expertise with creative problem‑solving and want to make a tangible impact on a global stage, this role is for you.

A role you will love

As an EUC Engineer in Messaging & Collaboration, you’ll be part of the team that designs, builds, and evolves the platforms that keep Computershare’s global workforce connected and productive. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll tackle complex challenges across cloud and on-premises environments, with opportunities to innovate and automate at scale.

Your work will include:

  • Engineering & Modernisation: Design and implement solutions that improve reliability, security, and user experience across messaging and collaboration platforms
  • Hybrid Complexity: Solve technical challenges in hybrid environments, ensuring seamless coexistence between on-premises and cloud services
  • Migrations & Integrations: Plan and execute migrations for internal projects as well as acquisitions and divestments, ensuring minimal disruption and strong user experience
  • Operational Excellence: Provide expert-level support for critical incidents, lead root cause analysis, and ensure smooth delivery of changes through automation and governance
  • Automation & Integration: Develop scripts, apps, and workflows to eliminate manual effort and enable self-service, using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, and Azure automation tools
  • Security & Compliance: Embed security and compliance into everything you build—whether that’s authentication standards, data retention, or threat protection
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and modernise services, and contribute to the roadmap for future capabilities

What will you bring to the role?

The ideal candidate has proven years in enterprise engineering or IT operations with a strong focus on Microsoft messaging and collaboration technologies.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Exchange Online & Exchange 2016/2019 (hybrid), mail flow, transport rules, TLS, migrations (on-prem/cloud, tenant-to-tenant), and patching
  • Email security: DMARC, DKIM, SPF, BIMI, and Proofpoint EFD
  • Archiving/retention: Enterprise Vault, M365 retention, eDiscovery, legal hold
  • SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams – provisioning, permissions, DLP basics
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph (REST & SDK)

  • Strong grasp of Entra ID: service principals, managed identities, conditional access
  • Familiarity with Azure RBAC, subscriptions, landing zones (basic awareness)
  • ITIL-aligned operations, documentation, and a security-focused approach
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on root-cause analysis and delivering accurate, reliable solutions
  • Team Player: Communicates clearly across time zones (EMEA/Americas), shares knowledge, and contributes to documentation and runbooks
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and cross-train, especially in areas like automation and AI-driven improvements
  • Customer-Focused: Prioritizes end-user experience, resolves issues with minimal disruption, and communicates clearly with non-technical users

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft 365 security: Defender for Office 365 (policies, phishing simulations), Safe Links/Safe Attachments, EOP tuning
  • Advanced eDiscovery & Records: Microsoft Purview (retention, records management, eDiscovery (Standard/Premium))
