This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a eDiscovery Sales Specialist (EDRM Overlay) based in United States.

This is a high-impact sales specialist role focused on accelerating enterprise opportunities within the eDiscovery and EDRM market.
You will serve as a trusted product and domain expert, helping sales teams translate complex technology into compelling business value.
The role combines strategic deal support, competitive positioning, executive engagement, and technical product advocacy.
You will partner closely with Account Executives on high-value, complex opportunities where specialist expertise can influence win rates.
You’ll also help shape scalable sales playbooks, competitive messaging, proposals, and RFP strategies.
Success requires strong knowledge of eDiscovery workflows, excellent communication, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
This remote-first opportunity offers significant visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to directly influence revenue growth.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with Account Executives during presentation and proposal stages to translate EDRM capabilities into clear, compelling business value for enterprise buyers.
  • Tailor solution messaging to diverse stakeholders, including attorneys, paralegals, investigators, general counsel, legal teams, and security leaders.
  • Deliver executive-level product presentations and high-level solution architecture guidance that establish technical credibility and trust.
  • Develop deal-specific competitive positioning, counter-messaging, and win strategies against competing eDiscovery and EDRM solutions.
  • Support strategic RFPs, proposals, and complex enterprise opportunities where deep product expertise and solution design are critical to success.
  • Create repeatable sales playbooks, competitive battlecards, value frameworks, and positioning materials that can be leveraged across the broader sales organization.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to communicate customer insights and influence go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify market trends, competitive developments, and emerging customer needs, translating them into actionable field messaging and sales strategies.
  • Focus specialist engagement on high-value Tier A and Tier B opportunities where complexity or competitive pressure requires domain expertise.
  • Maintain clear ownership boundaries with Account Executives and Sales Engineers, providing strategic product value and deal-shaping support while they manage account relationships, negotiations, and hands-on technical validation.
  • Help improve sales effectiveness by documenting successful approaches and turning individual deal wins into scalable processes.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Product Marketing, or domain-specialist roles within eDiscovery, Legal Tech, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technology market.
  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery and EDRM workflows, with hands-on or commercial familiarity with platforms such as Exterro, Relativity, Reveal, Nuix, or comparable solutions.
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts, including cloud architecture, API integrations, and data or artifact processing, in clear business terms.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial eDiscovery market, buyer requirements, competitive dynamics, and effective positioning strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence C-suite executives, legal and security leaders, technical stakeholders, investigators, and other diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Success in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial judgment, with the ability to identify customer needs, competitive weaknesses, and opportunities to improve win probability.
  • Comfortable operating with limited direct authority and influencing complex decisions through expertise, communication, and relationship building.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • CEDS or other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
