Apply retention labels: Create and apply retention labels to SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries to ensure records are managed correctly throughout their lifecycle.
Manage records lifecycle: Oversee the entire records lifecycle, from creation and collaboration to disposition, ensuring all information is managed according to defined policies.
Automate record management: Use Microsoft Purview's automated policies to classify records based on file attributes or content, reducing manual effort and risk.
Oversee disposition: Manage the disposition process, which may involve conducting reviews and ensuring records are securely destroyed or transferred to archives once their retention period has expired.
Ensure compliance: Ensure all records management practices align with legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
Provide user support and training: Assist users in understanding and adhering to records management policies and the proper use of SharePoint and Purview tools.
Troubleshoot and optimize: Troubleshoot issues and continuously evaluate and improve the records management environment to ensure efficiency and compliance.
