Discovery Specialist
We are looking for a Discovery Specialist in Legal Services, fixed term for 18 months.

Inland Revenue plays a critical role in improving the economic and social wellbeing of New Zealanders by collecting and distributing money for the Crown. Legal Services is one of the largest government in-house legal teams and forms an integral part of the ‘Customer and Compliance Services – Business’ unit. The Legal Services team provides legal advice, technical support, dispute resolution and litigation services.
About the Role | Mō te tūnga
This role will suit someone who has specialised technical, operational and process capability that can support and enhance Legal Services’ use of EDT (a secure evidence management tool) and the broader eDiscovery function for litigation. This supports Legal Services to ensure that discovery tasks are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in a way that supports high quality litigation outcomes for Inland Revenue.
In this role you will:
Maintain stakeholder and relationship management
Manage the oversight of eDiscovery and case management
Provide technical expertise and system administration
Deliver training, coaching and capability building
Support workflow, process improvement and quality assurance
About You | Mōu
To be successful in this position, you will possess the following capabilities:
You will have proven experience in solving complex problems.
Experience working with evidence management systems
Technology background including experience testing and enhancing new systems.
Ability to mentor/coach other team members to build capability and technical expertise.
Lead/drive initiatives to deliver great outcomes on time.
Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly and concisely
Identify emerging trends and provide thought leadership to support the development of innovative solutions and improve customer experience.
