The Digital Workplace Supervisor owns digital workplace technology roadmaps and the life cycle, and maintains a strong relationship with technology vendors, IT security and legal or compliance teams The supervisor will ensure seamless operations across the digital workplace ecosystem by managing hardware lifecycle, driving adoption of collaboration tools, and embedding automation and self-healing solutions. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a customer-centric mindset to ensure our employees remain productive and free from digital friction.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills, along with excellent communication, collaboration, and change management experience. They will also have a strong customer service mindset, with a focus on enhancing the employee experience and overall sentiment. Passionate about digital employee experience, they will maintain an awareness of the latest digital trends and innovations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience. ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of IT service/support experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role, with a proven ability to lead enterprise IT deployment projects and develop technology roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture. Possesses hands-on experience with digital experience monitoring platforms and expertise in developing and deploying automation tools such as PowerShell or Intune. Brings a strong background in lifecycle management and digital adoption initiatives.

Travel: Up to 15%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of Digital Workplace Engineers, Desktop Engineers, and IT Hardware Specialists.

  • Aligns team objectives with the company’s Digital Workplace strategy, ITIL v4 practices, and Service Desk initiatives.

  • Fosters a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and “unreasonable hospitality” support.

  • Supports digital workplace technology projects and planning

Digital Experience & Automation

  • Advocates for advanced analytics and automation to streamline efficiencies.

  • Oversees integration of DEX with ServiceNow ITSM to enable proactive monitoring, self-healing automation, and faster incident resolution.

  • Drives automation initiatives to reduce manual workloads and improve service efficiency.

  • Monitors digital employee sentiment, device health, and productivity KPIs to measure and improve IT impact.

Adoption & User Enablement

  • Champions onboarding and ongoing training programs that empower employees to maximize the value of digital tools.

  • Ensures documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials are accurate and widely accessible.

  • Hardware & Lifecycle Management

  • Supervises planning and execution of hardware lifecycle management (Windows laptops, CAD workstations, iPads).

  • Oversees device deployment, patch management, and refresh strategies using tools like Intune, Autopilot, PDQ Deploy, and 1E analytics.

  • Ensures compliance, security, and performance standards are maintained across all digital workplace endpoints.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Works closely with Business Technology, Talent, and business unit leaders to streamline processes, reduce digital friction, and improve employee productivity.

  • Manages vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement, support, and lifecycle services.

  • Provides executive-level reporting on digital workplace performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensures alignment with data retention, compliance and e-discovery processes

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
