  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Excluding Federal Holidays)- 5 year contract
  • Clearance: Public Trust Clearance will be required at the time of the contract.
Position Summary:
  • The Data Specialist will support the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Texas, by performing data processing, analysis, and review in support of litigation activities.
  • This includes handling electronically stored information (ESI), performing data conversion, ensuring compliance with discovery obligations, and supporting case teams using advanced eDiscovery tools like Relativity, Nuix, and IPRO Eclipse.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation for eDiscovery, including data collection, processing, analysis, and production of ESI using tools like Relativity, Nuix, and IPRO Eclipse.
  • Support case teams with organizing, indexing, and preparing documents for automated storage, retrieval, and discovery.
  • Utilize advanced eDiscovery software (Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO Eclipse, etc.) for document searches, data extraction, and automated processing.
  • Work closely with client agencies to ensure proper collection, review, and preservation of ESI. Assist in trial preparation, including evidence presentation using tools like IPRO Trial Director.
  • Review ESI for data integrity, completeness, and compliance, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Convert and organize paper/native files into searchable PDF portfolios and load them into the appropriate eDiscovery platforms.
  • Create logs, reports, and summaries based on data analysis using eDiscovery software. Conduct document searches using AI-powered tools.
  • Provide end-user support and training on all eDiscovery software and tools, including the setup of case-specific websites for eDiscovery review.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Mandatory minimum of 3 years in litigation support, eDiscovery, and/or technology support within the government, law firm, or eDiscovery vendor environment.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with Relativity, Nuix, IPRO Eclipse, Cloud Nine Law, and other eDiscovery software platforms.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the litigation lifecycle, eDiscovery processes, and document review practices.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Experience with Relativity Case Manager or as an Administrator in eDiscovery platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
