Job Description

Summary

As an eDiscovery Data Entry Specialist, you will support the accurate and efficient operation of our data center by managing physical data media, maintaining records, validating data, supporting billing activities, and responding to customer inquiries. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple work items according to established priorities.


Responsibilities

Media Management

  • Ship and receive physical data media.
  • Catalog, track, and maintain media inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of media location and movement.

Reporting and Data Validation

  • Generate operational reports related to media and data activity.
  • Track data and media movement.
  • Conduct audits and reconcile discrepancies to support data accuracy and integrity.

Customer Service

  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Document customer issues and support timely resolution.
  • Communicate status and relevant information to customers and internal teams.

Billing

  • Prepare accurate invoices for data storage and related services.
  • Verify billing information against applicable records.

Systems and Technology

  • Use Microsoft Office and standard business computer applications to complete daily responsibilities.
  • Use applicable data, inventory, or media-management systems.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience handling, tracking, cataloging, shipping/receiving, or maintaining records for physical media, records, inventory, data assets, or comparable materials.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple work items according to established priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using database management, inventory-tracking, or media-management software.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the eDiscovery industry.

Compensation

The base compensation range for this position is $16.00–$18.00 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on relevant factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
