About the Role

Apex Service Partners is seeking a Director of Information Security to lead our enterprise security strategy across a modern, fully clouddriven environment. This is a highimpact leadership role responsible for building and maturing our security program as we scale nationally. 

As our top security leader, you’ll partner closely with IT, business leadership, and key vendors to enhance our Microsoftcentric ecosystem, strengthen SaaS security, and drive alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). 

What You’ll Lead 

Security Strategy, Governance & Risk 

• Own and evolve the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and governance model. 

• Maintain the cyber risk register and align controls to NIST CSF. 

Microsoft Cloud & Zero Trust Security 

• Oversee core Microsoft security platforms: Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Sentinel. 

• Drive Zero Trust adoption across identity, devices, apps, and data. 

SaaS Security & Vendor Risk 

• Manage the full SaaS security lifecycle, including SSO integration and vendor risk assessments. 

• Leverage CASB tools and strengthen SaaS posture across the business. 

Identity & Access Management (IAM) 

• Lead RBAC design, PIM/PAM, lifecycle management, and identity governance best practices. 

Endpoint, Email & Collaboration Security 

• Enhance Intune compliance, endpoint protection, DLP, phishing defenses, and secure collaboration. 

Threat Detection & Incident Response 

• Lead incident response planning, SIEM tuning with our MSSP, and continuity playbooks. 

• Coordinate with our outsourced IR partner, including tabletop exercises and BEC investigations. 

Compliance, Data Protection & Awareness 

• Oversee Purview information protection, DLP, eDiscovery, and rolebased security training. 

Leadership 

• Build and develop a growing security team. 

• Manage and mature the MSSP partnership. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 8–12+ years of cybersecurity experience, with deep expertise in the Microsoft security ecosystem. 

• Proven experience in SaaS security, IAM, incident response, and vendor risk. 

• Strong communicator who can influence leadership and drive crossfunctional alignment. 

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, SC100, AZ500.
