Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at IST Management who is a proactive and consistent problem solver, and can adapt to the needs of a high-growth, privately-owned company. The CFO will be a critical thinker and able to perform deep and meaningful analysis of company financials for multiple entities in order to anticipate needs and design/execute solutions. This position reports to the President/CEO and will oversee and collaborate with the National Director of Finance and the Controller, who lead the full accounting team. The CFO candidate will lead by example as a hands-on driver of consistent improvement to systems and procedures.

 

For consideration, candidates must be CPA and able to fulfill full time office presence at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Familiarity with e-Discovery billing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

In addition to proactive improvement on existing processes and systems to drive positive change - responsibilities include:

 

Expertise in Procedural Leadership and Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements including month and year-end close-outs, financial reports, organizational and departmental budgets, and reports used by Executive team
  • Responsibilities include oversight/management of the following: annual audits, client accounting support, tax compliance & planning, long-range planning, insurance, risk management and return on investment analysis
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements; manage financial systems in accordance with GAAP
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards, approve and coordinate changes and improvements in financial information systems
  • Enhance and ensure compliance with finance, accounting, billing, and standard operating procedures (SOP)

 

Strategic Leadership

  • Management of Treasury functions including: cash flow planning/reporting/management and ensuring compliance with debt covenants
  • Serve as key point of contact for auditors, bankers, lenders, and accounting software contracts
  • Lead team and departmental leaders in identifying and implementing operational and system needs to scale organization; develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and operational projects and systems

 

People Leadership

  • Recruit, train, develop, supervise and evaluate Finance/Accounting departmental staff; collaborate with support departments
  • Succession planning

 

Highly Preferred Software Proficiencies: Sage Intacct, QuickBooks

 

Additional Preferred Software Proficiencies: Anytime Collect, Yooz Rising, Avalara, Nexonia, Navan, Hotel Engine, SAP Concur, ADP, Solaria

Qualifications

Additional qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a CFO, Finance/Accounting Director, or equivalent role in a legal environment and/or e-Discovery provider environment
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA; Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Strong background in IT purchasing and systems/systems implementations
  • Strong modeling, forecasting, analysis and budgeting experience
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
  • Willingness and ability to stand, sit, and view computer screen for hours at a time
