Role Summary

The Senior Recruiting Associate is an opportunity to join our growing remote Recruiting team at Epiq.  

This is a high visibility role, working with our leadership team to support Legal Recruiting and Fulfillment activities within Epiq Counsel. Candidate experience, brand reputation, and innovation are critical to Epiq Counsel. As such, this role has an immediate impact on the experience of our first-in-class legal professionals and the overall effectiveness of our business.

The Senior Recruiting Associate will coordinate necessary activities related to the full life cycle of a candidate. This includes maintaining candidate data in the applicant tracking database, technical phone screens, coordinating interviews, conducting bar and credentialing checks, and contributing to special projects.

Responsibilities Include

  • Legal recruitment – creating/executing search strings and identifying potential talent.
  • Maintaining candidate data in the applicant tracking system, coordinating interviews, conducting bar and credentialing checks.
  • Entering and tracking candidate information in database and ensuring appropriate parties have access to necessary information.
  • Effective utilization of LinkedIn and industry-relevant job boards.
  • Partner closely with the Fulfillment team to support Epiq Counsel Lawyers and Legal Professionals as they interview with clients for engagement opportunities.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up, high-quality work, and communication with executive candidates throughout the candidate’s lifecycle from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Complex calendar management and scheduling of internal and external meetings.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Recruiting to establish and maintain hiring statistics, KPI’s, special projects, new market launch, etc.
  • Simultaneously managing multiple tasks and action items (documentation, follow up and preparation) balancing priorities and ensuring appropriate and timely action on deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement.
  • 5+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition/recruiting experience.  
  • Experience in the legal industry/legal placement.
  • Experience supporting senior management in large, corporate environments or senior professionals in a professional services firm.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence and work closely with others to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports; excellent documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ year of experience providing support in a professional services environment.
  • Experience producing reports and using pivot tables / other advanced analytics.

The Compensation range for this role is 60,440.40 - 120,880.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
