Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION
HCSC is looking for a dynamic individual to join its Corporate Legal Services team! This position provides strategic support for multi-state licensing, regulatory requirements and filings, corporate governance function (e.g. minute maintenance, meeting records, resolutions) and provides legal advice and support of other complex corporate and regulatory matters. The role also supports corporate attorneys in a fast-paced legal practice. Functions of the position include, but are not limited to: preparing regulatory filings, drafting governance documents, conducting legal research, assisting in management of projects, preparing and delivering presentations to internal stakeholders, and preparing complex documents, correspondence, and agreements. The position is considered hybrid/flex and requires in-office visibility three day per week, working from home the other two days.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree AND 2 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department OR Paralegal Certification AND 4 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department OR 6 years of direct experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal
  • Strong knowledge of judicial system, court procedures, HCSC corporate policies, procedures, and company operations
  • Exceptional PC proficiency to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and move amongst tasks and changing priorities effectively
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and experience dealing directly with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into understandable guidance
  • Strong organizational, analytical, resourcefulness, and problem solving skills
  • Must be a team player with detail and deadline orientation

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery databases, procedures and resources
  • Advanced knowledge of the law and complex legal procedures
  • Ability to integrate special assignments or projects into workflow

Base Pay Range

$53,500.00 - $118,100.00
