Job Description:

Summary:

We are seeking an IT Support and Administrative Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for an ITE student or recent graduate who is eager to apply their technical knowledge and administrative skills in a real-world setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level tech support alongside performing a variety of administrative tasks. This position requires a detailed-minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is quick to adapt to the workflow and culture of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Supporting the first point of contact for technical support, offering solutions and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Support scope such as Keeping track of user requests, routing them to the appropriate resources and ensuring effective resolution.
  • Support on maintaining detailed records of technical issues and resolutions to improve future support efforts.
  • Support and assisting in the management and support of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Support and provide guidance and support to staff on the use of various IT resources.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Support the finance team by updating trackers, preparing reports, and handling invoicing tasks for clients and partners.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of documents, including transcripts and month-end reports.
  • Undertake administrative duties such as file management, data entry, and quality checks on documents.
  • Take on ad hoc responsibilities within the role as required to support the team and improve office efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from an ITE program, with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of IT principles and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proactive in learning new skills and adapting to changes in workflow or technology.
