Job Description:
Job Overview:
As a Microsoft 365 Exchange Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our email communication systems, ensuring security and compliance, and supporting our Microsoft 365 services. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining seamless communication between cloud and on-premises environments, integrating advanced email security measures, and providing top-notch support to end-users.
Exchange Online Management:
Administer the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Exchange Online, including mailbox management, distribution groups, and transport rules.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses.
Implement and manage email archiving and retention policies to meet compliance requirements.
Assist in the design and implementation of future-state Exchange environment.
Responsible to provide required system reporting (audit, performance, etc)
Provide problem resolution, root cause analysis, management, and documentation of messaging related issues.
Work closely with global Admin and manage retention policy between the user and shared mailboxes.
Proofpoint Integration:
Collaborate with the security team to integrate Proofpoint for advanced email security, threat detection, and data loss prevention.
SPAM and Phishing Mitigation:
Proactively address SPAM, phishing, and malicious emails, ensuring a secure email environment.
On-Premises Exchange Management:
Maintain on-premises Exchange servers (2010/13/16/2019) in a hybrid setup, ensuring seamless communication between cloud and on-premises mailboxes.
Azure AD Connect:
Configure and manage Azure AD Connect for directory synchronization.
Teams Management:
Team App management
Team Access management
M365 License Management:
Managing different types of accounts like user/service/admin and their licenses
Compliance Management:
eDiscovery activities
PST Archival management
OneDrive Access controls
Qualifications
Preferred.
-work experience for Exchange/outlook product over 5 years.
-support experience for EXO over 5 years.
-PowerShell, PNP Shell
Required for Exchange
3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience
• Deep understanding in Exchange architecture
• Deep troubleshooting skills with Exchange
• Experience with Exchange 2010, 2013 and 2016
• Experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016
• Design, administration and, or support experience with Exchange On-Premise and Exchange Online environments
• Experience with Migrations to Exchange On Premise to Exchange Online
• Troubleshooting skills with Exchange Transport and Client Access
• Troubleshooting experience with Devices syncing.
• Experience with Exchange Disaster Recovery scenarios
• Deep understanding of Active Directory and DNS
• O365 Security and Compliance related technologies (eDiscovery, DLP, ATP, OCAS, etc.)
Required for Outlook
• Microsoft Office applications and Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016
• Microsoft Office 365 and, or Exchange on-premises servers administration (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016)
• Windows Server concepts and administration (Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Networking)
• Networking (HTTP, DNS, TCP, IP)
• Outlook for iOS, Outlook for Android, and Outlook for Mac
Language Qualification: English Language: confident in reading, writing and speaking.
