The Opportunity:

If you have experience managing eDiscovery projects across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and are looking to grow and manage multiple high visibility projects for the Department of Justice (DOJ) then this position is for you! In this critical position, you will manage a single high visibility large case or multiple smaller cases for one of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Divisions under the Mega contract.  In this position, you will also work closely with US Attorneys, DOJ Case Managers and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Case Managers, and technical teams to discuss project requirements, schedules, budgets, and all litigation support activities for each project. Responsibilities:

As a part of a high performing team, CACI’s Litigation Project Managers work with Lead Project Managers and Deputy Division Directors to serve as the primary person responsible for all support provided to a particular case.  Project Managers will generally be responsible for more than one active case at a time; a caseload of six to ten moderately active, moderately sized cases will be typical, with several of the cases possibly in the discovery and/or document review stage, one case in trial, several in the deposition preparation/witness binder stage, etc. Additional responsibilities include:

·        This position manages several projects varying in size and complexity that can go through all or some of the phases of the EDRM spectrum, from investigation, intake/acquisition of documents and data (discovery), through trial support.

·        The Project Manager is the Government's primary point of contact for all support for the case.

·        The Project Manager will have frequent contact with the DOJ COR, Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, and sometimes even opposing counsel. 

·        The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing all support for the case, including monitoring workflow, progress reporting, identifying and assigning staff, budget development and tracking, coordinating technical/data processing and eDiscovery support, and obtaining other required resources. 

·        Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time. 

·        Ensures that proper security is maintained overall project materials, in accordance with security procedures. 

·        Coordinates with other Contractor components to deliver project support.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major e-discovery/litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated experience working in eDiscovery document review platforms such as Relativity, Clearwell, iCONECT, Casepoint, Everlaw, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and eDiscovery support activities.
  • Requires expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
  • Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs.
  • Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment where the work is performed, including PC-based and virtual environments.
  • Familiarity with Electronically Stored Information (ESI) tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.
  • Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware and document review platforms.
  • Undergraduate degree required.  Law degree, advanced technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred.
  • Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.


Desired:

·        Certification(s) in Relativity, ACEDS, and other eDiscovery related technical certifications.

·        Trial support experience.

·        Professional, can-do attitude.
