Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Director to lead our India based development teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics, and a proven track record of managing between USA and India development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software engineering teams, based in India, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of applications using the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, Azure, SQL Server, Power Platform, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, Azure, SQL Server, Power Apps , and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Proven experience managing onshore and offshore development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with cloud architecture and services, particularly Azure.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure coding standards.
- Certification in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer).
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
