Job Description & Summary
We are looking for a junior tech-savvy geek who likes to play with data, is curious about both scripting and interpreting results, is willing to do an “all-nighter” from time to time and is not afraid to learn new technologies.
Our team provides technological support in fraud investigations, designs data analytical tools and applications to identify wrong-doers and creates insightful data visualizations and because we operate in an environment where speed of response is critical, we are constantly innovating and using the very latest technologies.
Analyse information from various IT systems and public data sources to identify trends and connections between data and to identify signs of fraud or other wrongful behavior.
Searching for evidence of fraud and abuse within a company’s finance system.
Creating visualizations in PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, PlotLy or similar.
Learn how to use and analyse data using advanced digital forensic tools and techniques.
Technology or scientific background (university degree not required if you have basic skills, some experience and curious and analytical mindset).
Very good command of the English language (Czech or Slovak is a big plus).
Basic knowledge of at least one of: SQL, Python, R or other scripting or programming languages. PowerBI, Tableau or other visualization tools are a plus.
Teamwork skills, high ethical standards.
Attention to detail. You will be looking for fraud and fraud is, by nature, hidden.
Full time position.
Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.
