1-3 years of technical experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure, specifically with data ingestion processes (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, Databricks)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field
A demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between the theoretical and the practical with experience in deploying or executing AI theories from various ML models and algorithms
Understand key Cyber Security concepts
Ability to integrate with highly complex, senior cross functional teams across security (IT and OT), data, privacy and digital risk
Experience working with multi-cultural and matrix environment
Skilled at delivering results within strict time constraints
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with key diverse stakeholders
Ability to architect solutions using key resources and infusing key Data & AI technologies Azure SQL DB, SQL MI, Azure Synapse, ADF, ADLS, Azure Databricks and complimentary technologies
Experience with BI platforms, reporting tools, data visualization products, ETL engines
Strong proficiency with PowerBI visualization solutions
Support incident response, investigations and eDiscovery events
Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of statistics and analytical skills to mine data at scale and develop large-scale ML models to reveal the value in data
Manage our cloud solutions from inception through to sustainment, ensuring that resourcing and change impacts are understood and addressed
Provide support the Cyber Security team to provide the business where required from performing reviews, analysis and independent studies, to make interpretations and conclusions relating to assigned projects or requests
Location and other Key Details:
This an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
