Job Overview:
The AVP, Exchange and Collaboration Engineer’s role is to participate in the planning, design, and management of the company’s Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure. This position is a senior member of the overall Digital Office team and will provide subject matter expertise in support of Exchange, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 core services. To support this requirement, the role requires strong knowledge and expertise with designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting the relevant messaging, collaboration, and core M365 technologies.
Responsibilities:
Act as technical project lead for projects focused around migrating from a single on premises Exchange organization to multiple distinct M365/EXO tenants
Assist with developing roadmaps, governance, processes, and policies aligning to business and IT strategy
Act as lead engineer for expansion of future “Digital Office” offerings
Function as a subject matter expert for the various messaging applications and tools in M365 within the Digital Office space
Act as liaison with Compliance and Regulatory teams
Prioritize deliverables including project and BAU activities
Provide on-call support for operational support teams.
Assist in performing all tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements regarding Exchange and MS Teams availability and security

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent IT work experience (10+ years)
4+ years’ experience with Microsoft Exchange Online including migrations
3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Teams Online including 3rd party integrations
Experience migrating on-premises Microsoft Exchange mailboxes from a single organization to multiple Exchange Online tenants via Hybrid and BitTitan MigrationWiz.
Core Competencies:
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Ability to explain technical procedures in business terms for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to develop strategic customer relationships, gain trust, and respect for the team
Preferences:
Experience designing, engineering, implementing, and managing multiple Azure/Exchange Online tenants
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
Extensive experience with eDiscovery & Electronic Communications Compliance Management in a heavily regulated industry
Extensive experience configuring and troubleshooting end user clients (Outlook and MS Teams) on multiple platforms (Windows, MacOS, iOS & Android)
Extensive experience creating and modify PowerShell scripts to automate and manage on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft offerings
