Job Title: Litigation Paralegal


Location: Los Angeles, CA (Primarily on-site; limited remote work may be available)

Position Summary:

The Litigation Paralegal will provide essential support to attorneys throughout the entire litigation process, from case inception through trial and post-trial. This role involves managing case files, overseeing document production, and assisting with depositions, hearings, and legal research, ensuring accuracy and thorough preparation for all stages of litigation.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case filing, discovery, trial, and post-trial.

  • Maintain organized case files, oversee document production, and track discovery.

  • Prepare for depositions and hearings by creating witness outlines and organizing exhibits.

  • Draft, review, and edit legal documents with high attention to detail.

  • Conduct legal research and verify citations for accuracy in briefs.

  • Collaborate with litigation support for eDiscovery and document review.

  • Meet annual billable hour targets while delivering exceptional client service.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Eligible to work as a paralegal per Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450.

  • At least 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal with strong knowledge of California law.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Skilled in eDiscovery tools, such as iPro, and legal research platforms like Westlaw or Lexis.

  • Strong understanding of California legal procedures, rules, and eDiscovery.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
