Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will be responsible for all technical components for assigned eDiscovery cases. This position liaises with case teams, clients, and the internal eDiscovery team to ensure technical support during all phases of document reviews and reports regularly to case teams about discovery project status. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills and will have advanced knowledge of Relativity. A bachelor’s degree is required.
Position Description
The Project Manager liaises with case teams, clients, and the internal eDiscovery team to ensure technical support during all phases of document reviews. This position manages all technical components for assigned eDiscovery cases. The Project Manager relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Project Manager position will be located in our Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Washington, D.C., Austin, TX, Dallas, TX or Houston, TX office.
Responsibilities:
- Provides day to day eDiscovery system support to case teams and clients
- Serves as primary contact for legal team about data organization, review tracking, database setup to support review needs, and document productions
- Consults with case teams regarding best practices and recommends efficient and effective workflows
- Collaborates in a team environment to provide superior client service
- Conducts data searches within the eDiscovery systems
- Analyzes eDiscovery technology usage and prepares recommendations to enhance cost efficiencies
- Prepares documentation to track media, searches, productions, and other information about key decisions in data management made regarding data management and process flow
- Consults with case teams regarding best practices and recommended workflows
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A few years of work experience
- Advanced knowledge of eDiscovery systems (Relativity)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
