The Security Intelligence team is responsible for protecting Tesla’s intellectual property, responding to threats, and supporting all aspects of data security at Tesla. As an eDiscovery Analyst, you will be responsible for responding to production requests from outside counsel, adverse parties, and government in high-stakes litigations, making sure digital information is maintained and destroyed in accordance with best practices, and spearheading improvements in workflow and review capabilities. You will work with teams across Tesla to protect sensitive information and deliver ironclad, legally defensible results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard electronic discovery processing including exports, keyword searching, and transfer to vendors or internal stakeholders
  • Triage and manage workflow queues from internal and external clients
  • Maintain litigation hold and document retention notice tools and workflows
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside counsel on document uploads and productions
  • Create reports providing information on data volume, spend, hosting charges, and production
  • Support Legal, Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Security with internal investigations
  • Work with Tesla Legal to globalize and standardize workflows while working within local regulations and practices
  • Coordinate and manage internal tool support with IT
  • Forensically image and maintain data as necessary
  • Identify emerging trends and industry best practices and work to operationalize those practices throughout the business

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience working in eDiscovery
  • Familiarity with Relativity or equivalent and Microsoft’s o365 Compliance Platform, including complex Boolean keyword searches
  • Experience with industry standard evidence inventory and chain-of-custody procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver error-free work product
  • Proven track record of collaboration with in-house legal teams and company vendors
  • Professional written and oral communication
  • Experience with forensic imaging tools (EnCase, FTK Imager, Recon, BlackBag Technologies, Axiom) preferred
  • Experience with executing command line tools (PowerShell, Python) a plus
