Principal Solutions Consultant – eDiscovery

The opportunity:

As a Lead Solutions Consultant with OpenText, you will be primarily responsible for supporting our European LegalTech sales team across various aspects of the sales process. You will be providing technical assistance and subject matter expertise to convince prospects and customers with value-based proposals of OpenText LegalTech industry leading solutions.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing technical support and sales expertise to pre-sales and post-sales situations within a designated sales region (Europe)

• Formulating technical strategies and tactics for sales in support of OpenText products and services and functioning as an integral part of the sales team

• Technically qualifying sales opportunities via discovery calls and meetings

• Understanding customer business issues, mapping them to the technical solution and providing a roadmap for the customer’s success

• Providing ad hoc and custom demonstrations of the OpenText product set

• Presenting technical features and business benefits of the OpenText product set

• Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

• Meeting customers stated and agreed upon opportunity acceptance criteria – this could involve running a Proof of Concept

• Identifying and communicating technical and business pre-sales issues to the Account Executives

• Assisting and making recommendations for the development of account plans

• Assisting customers with installation, configuration, and use of the OpenText product set

• Ensuring customer satisfaction by making referenceable accounts

• Identifying and cultivating Professional Services and Software sales opportunities

• Working cooperatively with other members of the organization to resolve technically oriented problems

What it takes:

• Minimum of a Bachelor in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience

• 3-5 minimum years of experience in electronic discovery and forensics

• 3-5 minimum years of experience in a customer-facing technical role

• Previous experience working with OpenText LegalTech products preferred (Axcelerate)

• Excellent customer relations including written and oral communications skills in English (additional European language is desirable but not essential)

• Demonstrate a team attitude while enjoying a high level of independence

• Ability to respond appropriately in a dynamic, client-oriented organization

• Ability to work on a wide range of problems with diverse scope & complexity

• Ability to manage several sales opportunities at a time

• This position may require travel to customer, partner and OpenText sites across Europe as necessary
