Associate Director – Litigation Support, Investigations and Disputes
We are looking for an experienced investigator and researcher to support our investigations and disputes team with in-house research and management of complex dispute support work and asset traces. We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of cross-border investigations and asset tracing methodology and case strategy. We are looking for an individual who is a self-motivated, experienced and hard-working team player, interested in continuing a career in the disputes support world.
The Role
The role would involve:
- Management of asset tracing, internal investigations and other dispute support projects
- Public domain research relevant for asset tracing, internal investigations and wider dispute support assignments
- Drafting of client-ready deliverables including reports and supporting visuals
- Liaising with external stakeholders to gather relevant human sources intelligence for ongoing casework
- Developing a network of contacts
- Briefing of clients and internal stakeholders on existing project work
- Drafting of client proposals for our investigation work
- Training and mentoring of junior colleagues
Qualifications & Capabilities
The successful candidate will have:
- Investigative mindset and attention to detail
- At least four years of experience in the investigations industry with a proven focus on asset tracing, internal investigations and other dispute support assignments
- Working proficiency in at least one foreign language is an advantage
- Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of relevant databases and other relevant tools and sources of information in the public domain
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time, and meeting client deadlines
- Interpersonal skills that will be essential in client briefings and liaison with other internal and external stakeholders
