Data Forensics Specialist / eDiscovery

Job Description:

  • Support and maintain eDiscovery Program in collaboration with the Cyber Security Team.
  • Working closely with Cyber Security and Legal Teams to perform the collection and preservation of electronically stored information (ESI) across a multiple data sources.
  • Assistance with investigations and early case assessment using a variety of forensic tools.
  • Support and leverage process efficiencies and overall defensibility of our eDiscovery process.
  • Case management and evidence logging.
  • Assist in keeping technical and process documentation up to date.
  • Provide case management support including.
  • Data collection tracking.
  • Search term guidance and iterative applications.
  • Management of collaboration between outside counsel, eDiscovery vendors, and internal legal teams.
  • Administration of eDiscovery technologies including assisting in troubleshooting of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team paralegals to ensure timely issuance of legal holds, and other case tasks, including.
  • Drafting and issuing of legal holds.
  • Preparing and reviewing discovery responses.
  • Drafting correspondence and subpoena responses.
  • Work closely with eDiscovery vendors.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a law firm, eDiscovery vendor, managed service provider and/or in-house.
  • Experience with eDiscovery processes, forensic data collections and evidence handling, including with FTK, Enterprise Vault, Axiom Magnet Cyber, o365 Compliance Center
  • eDiscovery or Forensic certifications a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and data life cycle management concepts (e.g. identity management, application access, encryption, etc.)
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree/equivalent experience
